Last night in London the Hong Kong designed Daycraft Gold Slab notebook picked up the Best of the Best award at the prestigious 2012 Stationery Show Awards.

Created by Stepworks with Daycraft, the Gold Slab notebook earlier qualified for the show’s ultimate accolade by winning the Best Paper Product award.

Stepworks Managing Director, Mr Stephen Barry said, “This is an entirely unexpected honour as the notebook was entered by the local distributor in the UK. The award validates our brand strategy of releasing each year a selection of eye-catching products especially to delight the stationery aficionado. This award also celebrates Hong Kong stationery design skills.”

The awards were judged by a highly experienced panel of stationery purchasing executives led by Henri Davis, Stationery Buyer for the National Trust.

Held on National Stationery Day, the awards ceremony was part of the UK National Stationery Show conducted at the Business Design Centre in North London.

The Gold Slab notebook was selected from among hundreds of products presented by 150 exhibitors from 20 countries at the show.
