KEF deconstructs its speakers for its R Series launch campaign

Premium speaker brand KEF enlisted creative branding agency Stepworks to develop the launch campaign for its R Series speakers.

Stepworks developed a photoshoot for the premium tower range to express in a simple way how KEF had enhanced the speakers for a more powerful sound quality.

Break it down

KEF wished to communicate the intricacy and effort behind its enhancements of the R Series. To achieve this, Stepworks meticulously dismantled one of its speakers and displayed each part upon a wall to form an elaborate art installation.

For the photoshoot, an intact speaker alongside its deconstruction illustrated the extent to which KEF made improvements at every level of the speaker, from design to component manufacture. The launch campaign was released for print magazines and online banners, targeting devout audiophiles who care about every little detail of high end speakers.
