At a prize-giving event held at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts on 21 March 2014, Hong Kong-based branding agency Stepworks picked up a string of awards at the HKDA Global Design Awards 2013. The agency was recognized for its ongoing collaboration with fast-growing global personal organizer brand Daycraft, and for how it helped to remix noodle culture with restaurant Noodle LAH.
Stepworks managing director Stephen Barry said, “The real winners are our customers, who gain a multitude of business advantages through effective branding.”
The biggest award went to Daycraft’s Gold Slab notebook, which previously won best-of-the-best at the London Stationery Show. This time the Slab notebook series took the bronze award and the Hong Kong Best award in the office category.
Daycraft’s TDC tradeshow booth was awarded a merit in the exhibition and window display category. The Moneywrap, a unique compact wallet also by Daycraft, received a merit in the office category.
Stepworks’ interior design for Noodle LAH won a merit in the retail category.
